Huk-A-Poo was a company in the seventies that primarily produced these amazing polyester graphic shirts that all shared the same cut - skinny and lean with front buttons and pointed collars. They were a cultural phenomenon and even the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art has a selection of their shirts in its collection! Though I have seen the very occasional dress by this label that was obviously done at a later date, this is the very first time I have seen a classic 1977 or so shirt paired with not only a matching skirt but a tie belt as well! If you are a collector you probably just gasped! Its fabulous and in excellent condition.
Both pieces are unlined, The top buttons to close and the skirt has an elastic waist. Missing one button on one cuff.
